Rust-Oleum NeverWet Oleophobic Oil Repellent Coating
Rust-Oleum NeverWet Oleophobic Oil Repellent Coating
Rust-Oleum NeverWet Oleophobic top coat is an oil repellent coating which repels water and oil from concrete, masonry, wood and more. Topcoat provides excellent protection to the surface from hydraulic oil, machine oil, and motor oil. This superhydrophobic coating is manufactured to prevent industrial machineries from the harmful effect of oil and moisture. To create oil repellent surface, you need to apply base coat and then top coat.
NOTE: It is not allowed to send this item through air mode. Surface mode is enabled for the same. Thus, shipping will be done through surface.
Features of Oleophobic Oil Repellent Coating
- Creates a surface that repels water and oils.
- Repels chemicals such as hydraulic, machine and motor oils.
- Helps manage flow of lubricants, oils and other liquids for easy clean-up.
- Two part system applies by air atomized spray.
- After base coat is applied, wait 45 minutes and apply top coat. NeverWet will repel water after 30 minutes. Wait 12 hours for optimal performance.
NOTE: Read and follow the instructions carefully that are printed on tin.

How to Apply Industrial Neverwet Oleophobic Coating?
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be dry, clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, wax, dust, chalk, rust or any other contaminants that may prevent proper adhesion. Remove all loose or peeling paint. Plaster, concrete block, concrete and masonry surfaces must be cured. Remove all form release and curing agents.
Application
Mix basecoat thoroughly with a powered mixer or paint shaker. Stir often during use. Thoroughly shake topcoat before use. Remove lid with care. Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between 50-90°F (10-32°C) and the relative humidity is not greater than 85%. Dry times may be affected by extremely high or low relative humidity. Best results are achieved by spray application detailed in the following chart.
Base Coat - Spray apply a continuous wet film free from sags and runs. Wait 45 minutes.
Topcoat - Spray apply several light coats until a cloudy, slightly hazy film is evident. Water repellency will start after 30 minutes with optimum performance after 12 hours.
