Rust-Oleum Epoxy Shield Anti-skid is manufactured to create slip resistant surface. This innovative product is compatible to use with epoxy, latex paints, oil-based paints, or stains. This will not alter the performance, color, or properties of coating which makes is different from competitive brands. This anti slip additive is suitable to use for wood, concrete, metal, and fiberglass.

    How to Apply Epoxyshield Anti Skid Additive


    Mixing


    For one part floor coatings: Add one package for each gallon of coating just prior to application. Pour the additive in slowly, while stirring and mix thoroughly until the additive is evenly dispersed.


    For two part floor coatings: Premix both components to redisperse any settled particles; then add the activator to the base. If there is an induction time for the product, allow the coating to stand the recommended amount of time. Then pour the additive in slowly, while stirring and mix thoroughly until the additive is evenly dispersed.


    Application


    Apply the coating as normal. Remix the paint in the can Several times during use to ensure that any settled AntiSkid Additive is re-incorporated into the coating. If applying more than one coat of paint, mix the Epoxy Shield Anti-Skid Additive into the final coat only.
