Rust-Oleum Elastomeric Roof Patch is highly flexible product for repairing roof and sealing metal roof fasteners. This long lasting elastomeric roof sealant is made for repairing modified bitumen, asphalt, metal, and most single-ply roofs. Elasticity of Rust-Oleum White Acrylic Roof Sealant makes it durable under temperature variations and building movement. Moreover, it can be painted or coating with elastomeric coating.

How to Use Rust-Oleum Roofing Elastomeric Roof Patch

Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free from dirt, grease, oil, mold, algae, loose granules, loose gravel, loose paint, rust, excess chalk and other foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion. Rusted areas must be primed with Rust-Oleum Universal Roof Primer or a similar product. Surface temperatures should be under 100ºF (38ºC) to avoid premature curing. If the roof surface is hot, apply a light water spray to reduce the surface temperature.

Application: Apply only when air, material, and surface temperatures are between 40-100ºF (4-38ºC) and the relative humidity is below 85%. Apply with a brush or trowel (⅛-¼”) thick. Extend the material two inches on either side when sealing fasteners. For added strength, reinforce seams and repairs with Rust-Oleum Universal Patching Fabric between two applications of Rust-Oleum Elastomeric Roof Patch.
