Priming for best results
Use of a Rust-Oleum white primer provides added corrosion protection, enhances adhesion and hiding, and is especially recommended for metal and wood surfaces. Recommended primers include 224430T Painters Touch Flat White Primer, American Accents Flat White Primer and 249058 Painters Touch White Primer.
Application of Paint
Apply only when air and surface temperatures are above 50ºF (10ºC) and 90ºF (32ºC) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Before using, mix thoroughly to ensure any settled pigment is re-dispersed. Thinning is not required. Avoid painting in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Use a good quality synthetic brush or ¼”- ⅜” nap roller. Avoid excessive brushing as this will reduce film thickness and protection. Use light even strokes to ensure smooth and uniform flow. Apply two coats 45 minutes apart to achieve maximum glowing effect.
