Have a question?
Zinsser Drywall Primer is designed to seal new drywall and tape joints. It dries quickly and has low odor. Drywall Primer will not raise the nap on new drywall and seals the surface for painting in just 1 hour. Sands easily for a smooth surface to apply finish paints. Use a high build, high resin content Zinsser Primer Sealer such as BullsEye 1-2-3 under low sheen wall paints for maximum holdout.
NOTE: It is not allowed to send this item through air mode. Surface mode is enabled for the same. Thus, shipping will be done through surface.

How to Apply Zinsser Drywall Primer
Surface Preparation
Drywall should be clean, dry, sound and free of any contamination, mildew, rust or unsound coatings that may interfere with adhesion. Kill and remove any mildew.
Application
Apply only when air, material, and surface temperatures are between 50-90ºF (10-32ºC) and the relative humidity is below 85%. Thoroughly mix to ensure any settled pigment is re-dispersed before using. In most cases only one coat is necessary to prime most surfaces. If excessive absorption occurs over very porous substrates a second coat may be necessary. For best results, prime entire surface before painting.
Apply with a synthetic (nylon, polyester or blend) bristle brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Follow manufacturers instructions when using spray equipment. For airless spraying use a 0.015" to 0.017” tip at 2000 to 2500 psi. Wear NIOSH approved respirator and provide adequate ventilation.
