How to Restore Wheel and Rim with Wipe New Wheels?
Before opening the Wipe-It packet, prep all wheels intended for coating so that you can complete your Wipe New application within a few minutes after opening the packet. Once the packet is opened, the Wipe-It begins to dry. Do NOT open the Wipe-It until you are ready to use it.
Wash your wheels thoroughly with a cleansing agent and scrub brush to remove all brake dust, oils, and dirt. Rinse and inspect to ensure all dirt and stains are completely removed. Repeat as necessary until the surface is completely clean. Ensure all wheels are clean, dry, and cool to the touch before applying Wipe New
Use when temperatures are between 40°F and 90°F (4°C and 32°C). Use in well ventilated and covered areas away from the sun. Do not apply Wipe New to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight. Ensure surface is clean, dry and cool to ambient temperature before applying Wipe New.
Put on the chemical resistant gloves and ensure that you are in a well ventilated area and that the wheels are completely dry. Tear open the Wipe-It packet, pull out the applicator cloth and carefully wipe the lens ONE TIME in a single wipe, from one row to the next, with a slight overlap (like mowing a lawn) until the surface is completely coated. Dab the included detail swab brush into the applicator cloth and use it to apply Wipe New into lug nut holes and other tight areas. Tip: Start from the tire valve stem to mark your position and work your way around the wheel until you come back to the tire valve stem. Coat the wheels on one side of the car at the same time, then open the second Wipe-It and repeat the process on the other side of the car. If Wipe New begins to dry on the applicator cloth, streaking may occur. Once the applicator cloth dries out completely, it cannot be reused and must be discarded.
