Prepare Your Surface
Surface preparation plays a vital role for paint adhesion and durability. Therefore, prepare the surface by removing all the dirt, grease, oil, salt and other chemical contaminants. If surface is already painted and you’ve loose paint then it is suggested to remove that via wire brush or sandpaper. Once surface is cleaned, wash that with water and leave that to dry. If you are going to apply fluorescent spray over glossy surface like plastic then create surface profile by light sanding. Don’t use this product on galvanized steel.
Suitable Atmospheric Conditions to Paint
It is very important to consider atmosphere for getting best results. Before spraying, always make sure that temperature is between 10-32°C and humidity is below 85%. You would be needing proper ventilation while spraying therefore choose well-ventilated area to spray. If the temperature of the surface is more than 93°C then don’t apply. Also, it is not good to use aerosol spray in windy and dusty conditions, therefore avoid to spray if you found the same. Don’t apply near open flame.
Application of Paint
Jiggle your aerosol cane properly before spraying. Hold can upright 10-16" from surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Maintain the distance between spray cane and surface while spraying. Remember, cane should be in the motion during use. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs.
