How to Use Rust-Oleum Seal Krete Wet-Look Penetrating Surface Sealer
Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry and oil-free. For oil stains, use a degreaser or SEAL-KRETE Oil Stain Remover. Do not apply to painted or stained surfaces. Do not apply over solvent or oil-based stains. Make sure all cure and seal compounds have been removed. Repair all cracks and surface breaks. Cover windows, doors, etc., prior to application. Use caution when applying on windy days. Remove any overspray immediately with water. New concrete must cure for a minimum of 30 days.
Application: Read “LIMITATIONS” section before use. This sealer is ready to use; do not dilute. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. Temperatures should not fall below 50°F (10°C) within 24 hours of application. Apply to porous, bare, uncoated concrete and masonry surfaces only. Etch smooth-finished concrete (such as patios or porches) with a concrete etching solution like SEALKRETE Clean-N-Etch. Apply until saturated using a brush, roller (3/8” nap), or low-pressure garden sprayer. Apply first coat, backrolling any puddles, and let dry 4 hours. Apply a second coat to maximize protection. Backroll to remove any puddles. On vertical surfaces, apply from the bottom up and saturate well. To improve slip resistance on horizontal surfaces, add SEAL-KRETE Clear Grip.
