Everything from foot traffic to local wildlife can leave scrapes, puncture marks or even big holes in a roof. Over time roofs can develop cracks, blisters, and ridges. Rust-Oleum Rubberized Wet Patch is a premium quality roof cement blended which can be applied directly to cold, hot, dry or underwater surfaces. This is heavily fibered for increased durability and longevity as it can be used to repair and restore flashings and roofing defects such as blisters, cracks and punctures.

How to Use Rust-Oleum Rubberized Wet Patch


Surface Preparation:All surfaces must be clean, sound and free from dirt, grease, oil, mold, algae, loose granules, loose gravel, loose paint, rust, excess chalk and other foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion.


Application: Apply with a trowel directly over a cleaned substrate at a rate of 12 square feet per gallon or approximately ⅛” thick. When making roof repairs or striping over the top of flashing laps, perform a 3-course repair consisting of one application of Rubberized Wet Patch followed by an embedded strip of Rust-Oleum Universal Patching Fabric or other mesh, followed by a final application of Rubberized Wet Patch.
