How to Apply Industrial Specialty Steel-Tech Spray Paint

Surface Preparation

Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with Pure Strength® Cleaner/Degreaser item #3599402, commercial detergent, or other suitable cleaner. Mold and mildew must be cleaned with a chlorinated cleaner or bleach solution. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry.


Use when temperature is above 50°F (10°C) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Surface temperature must be between 50-100°F (10-38°C). Use primer on bare or rusted surfaces. Do not use any primer with V2116838 High Temperature Aluminum, V2176838 High Temperature Black, V2117838 Bright Galvanizing Compound or V2185838 Cold Galvanizing Compound.
