Rust-Oleum Blackout Chrome Kit is manufactured to give custom appearance on automotive surfaces. This unique product creates black tinted effect over chrome or polished metallic surface. This perfect for customizing vehicles. This can be used for car wheels, engines, trim and more. The property which makes it suitable for engines and wheels is, it resists heat up to 121°C. This acrylic based formula is resistant to chemicals, nicks, chips and heat.
NOTE: It is not allowed to send this item through air mode. Surface mode is enabled for the same. Thus, shipping will be done through surface.

How to Apply Rust-Oleum Blackout Chrome Kit?
Ideal Environmental Conditions to Use
Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area such as an open garage. Apply when temperature is between 50-90ºF (10-32ºC) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces, when heated, exceed 250°F (121°C) or galvanized metal. Avoid spraying in windy and dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist.
Surface Preparation
Remove all dirt, grease, and wax with Wax And Tar Remover. Wash the surface with a commercial detergent, or other suitable cleaning method. Rinse with fresh water and dry with a clean cloth.
Application/Spraying
Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold can upright 8-10" from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can in motion while spraying. For the best appearance, apply 2 light coats, followed by 1 medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, and wait 10 minutes between applying each base coat. Allow Blackout Chrome Base Coat to dry 1 hour before applying Blackout Chrome Clear. Do not use near open flame.
