Rust-Oleum Stainless Steel Spray Paint is manufactured to convert automotive surface into stainless steel can be washed. This aerosol paint delivers a coating which is resistant to chemicals, chips, nicks and heat up to 121°C. This easy-to-use product serves 10-12 square feet of coverage. How to Apply Rust-Oleum Stainless Steel Spray Paint?
Appropriate Conditions to Spray
Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50-90°F (10- 32°C) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Not intended for continuous water submersion or for surfaces that, when heated, exceed 250°F (121°C). Priming is not recommended. Avoid spraying in very windy and dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist.
Make Your Surface Ideal For Best Results
Wash the surface with a commercial detergent, or other suitable cleaning method. Rinse with fresh water and let dry. Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces.
Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold can 12-16" from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. Do not use near open flame.
