Rust-Oleum Automotive Matte Black Spray Paint for Motorcycle and Car
Rust-Oleum Automotive Matte Finish provides a low profile, non-reflective finish that is fast drying and has excellent coverage. This durable formula can be applied over bare and primed metal surfaces for a smooth matte finish. This finish is ideal for use on autos, trailers, RVs and auto accessories. Matte Finish features an advanced spray system that allows you to spray at any angle, even upside down for those hard to reach areas. How to Apply Matte Black Spray Paint?
Appropriate Conditions to Spray
Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50-90ºF (10-32ºC) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces, when heated, exceed 200ºF (93ºC). Avoid spraying in very windy and dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist.
Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry. Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces.
Priming For Best Results
Use of a Rust-Oleum Primer provides added corrosion protection on metal and promotes adhesion and hiding. A primer is especially recommended for heavily rusted or pitted surfaces. Recommended sandable primer spray include 249419 Red, 252472 Light Gray or 249415 Gray.
Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use.
