How to Apply Specialty Dry Erase Paint
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease and oil. Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with detergent and water or other suitable cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and allow to fully dry. Lightly sand the surface that is to be painted. Remove dust from sanding with a lint-free cloth.
Application
Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between 50-90ºF (10-32ºC) and the relative humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. With painter’s tape, tape around the area you wish to paint before beginning. Pour paint into a paint tray. Use a dense foam roller that is designed to give a smooth finish. For smaller surfaces, use a foam brush. Results in a high gloss finish.
